This program will focus on assisting associations whose directors accidentally or intentionally violate the law or the governing documents. Examples include entering into unauthorized contracts; failing to make or making improper disclosures; approving prohibited architectural modifications; failing to undertake “due diligence” or ignoring expert advice; leaking privilege information/communications; improperly investing reserve funds; instructing vendors without board approval; ignoring discrimination-based neighbor to neighbor disputes; mitigation and “damage control” strategies.

It is a culmination of a manager’s education and experience in the industry and will put to the test their knowledge and analytical skills over the course of two days at an existing common interest community selected by CAI. PCAM candidates should commence the Case Study well prepared and WMCCAI has developed this session to help you do just that!
