COVID Task Force

Update from the Executive Director: Our Response to COVID-19

WMCCAI is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and we will make decisions about chapter programs as we have appropriate information to do so. As of today, all chapter events and education sessions scheduled through April 30, 2020 have been cancelled. We are working to determine what can be rescheduled at a later date; chapter staff will be in contact with any pre-registered attendees and sponsors as we make those determinations. All other WMCCAI events through August 31, 2020 are being reviewed; registration links will not open for those events until their status is determined. Our chapter website is updated often – please visit www.caidc.org for the latest event statuses and resources. If you have any questions, please email WMCCAI’s Executive Director, Jaime Barnhart, CMP, CAE, at jbarnhart@caidc.org or reach out to the chapter staff at info@caidc.org.

As of March 23, 2020, all three jurisdictions served by WMCCAI are under various orders to close non-essential businesses. We have linked each Governor or Mayor’s Office websites to our resources page (link) for quick access to the latest information in the area you live or work.

Additionally, below are direct links to the orders pertaining to essential and non-essential businesses in each area:

WMCCAI is working on rescheduling events, moving sessions to a virtual format, and looking for ways to stay connected to our members. Visit us on Facebook – let’s connect there for information sharing and some fun too! If you have a great idea, share it with us – email chapter staff at info@caidc.org.

As always, find our latest information regarding the Chapter’s response regarding the COVID-19 situation on our COVID-19 Alert Resources Page.
