The Maryland Legislative Committee is responsible for identifying legislative issues of importance to common-interest communities in the specific jurisdiction of the committee. The Maryland Legislative Committee’s jurisdiction, suburban Maryland, includes, but is not limited to Montgomery, Prince George’s and Charles counties. On statewide and federal issues, the Maryland Legislative Committee works directly with CAI’s Maryland and Federal legislative action committees. This committee meets on the fourth Thursday of every month.
