The Covenants Coordinator is responsible for enforcing the Association's Design Guidelines, Village Rules, and standards contained within the CC&Rs in a firm, but friendly manner. They will perform property inspections on a daily basis and will uphold standards for the community based upon the approved deed enforcement process. They will manage and track violations and the enforcement process through Jenark and SmartViolations, and will coordinate Self Helps with outside contractors managing the billing and file maintenance for these. They provide reports on covenant enforcement to the Board of Directors each month. The Covenants Coordinator also assists in the creation and adoption of rules and violation policies in accord with state statutes, city ordinances, and the community association's governing documents. The Coordinator will continuously examine processes and implement process improvements. They provide information, assistance, materials and education to new and existing homeowners regarding the benefits of Association living and the impact of the deed restrictions. The Coordinator will work closely with counterparts at the municipal level, leveraging and strengthening these relationships. Additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary.The ideal candidate will have experience in homeowner association operations; have a working knowledge of both the legal process for the community in regards to fines, assessments, liens and state statutes regarding deed restrictions and due process; proficiency with Jenark and SmartViolations; and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with an exceptional customer service attitude.
